Hola, I am Sharon Castillo, and I am the president of Latinx Student Union (LSU) at Gallaudet University. LSU is excited to be collaborating with the Latino Deaf Hard of Hearing Association of the Metro DC (LDHH) in celebrating 2019 Hispanic Heritage Month! We have been meeting throughout the summer to plan an exciting month for all of you! 

Yes! My name is Norma Moran, and I am the LDHH's coordinator for the Hispanic Heritage Month. We are so thrilled to join hands with LSU in planning an awesome Hispanic Heritage Month! We have already developed a calendar with events and workshops. We try to have a balance between educational and social events so please feel free to join us at our events! 

Our first event is our grande Kickoff on Sunday, September 15! It's at Gallaudet University from 12 pm to 5 pm. We will have authentic carne plus hot dogs/hamburgers! Please bring a favorite cultural side dish to share with us! Fun activities will be provided as well! Free admission so please join us! Bring your friends and family. 

We will share the calendar with all of you through FB, emails, videos, etc. In the meantime, please come to the Kickoff to help us to celebrate the start of the 2019 Hispanic Heritage Month!

12th Annual Deaf Indoor Soccer Amistad Tournament
Join for the 12th DISAT taking place at Total Soccer Arena Nov 8th and Nov 9 in Landover, MD. The tournament is open to competitive and recreational team for deaf and CODA Men. Over 6 teams came out and played in last year's challenge.
