Hispanic Heritage Month 2016

Latino Deaf and Hard of Hearing Association of the Metropolitan DC Area, Inc. (LDHHAMDC) is proud to celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month.

What is Hispanic Heritage Month? National Hispanic Heritage Month is the period from September 15 to October 15 and it happens every year in the United States, when people recognize the contributions of Hispanic and Latino Americans to the United States and celebrate the group's heritage and culture. We are excited to share our celebrations with you all.

There will be videos from each of LDHH board meeting as well, other members that came to our LDHH's General Meeting (September 17th). Of course, this is a time for us to reflect and share our culture experiences with each other. Please do share your experiences with LDHHAMDC.

Great News! The location has officially been confirmed to be starting on October 15 at 1:00pm. Let's come together and celebrate the Hispanic Heritage Month with our potluck party. LDHH will provide napkin, utensils, plates, and drinks. Please bring your favorite potluck.
