2006 Photo Archive

The First General Membership  Meeting will be held in the classroom at Gallaudet University on March 18, 2006.  It was open to Deaf and Hard of Hearing LDHHAMDC Community. 

In 2006, Soccer was initiated as an organized deaf Latino club sport in DC in the years following founded LDHHAMDC. They hosted an International Deaf Soccer tournament at Gallaudet University.  The was the fist time the two teams, Peru and Ecuader will play a game against each other on April 15, 2006. 

LDHH general meeting was held to conduct business on behalf of organization with National Council of Hispano Deaf and Hard of Hearing (NCHDHH) board of directors. This photo was taken on June 17, 2006.

Franklin Torres prepared to dice peppers as LDHH was on hand to celebrate the cookout's First Anniversary.

The was the second time the two teams, Peru and Ecuador played a game against each other during LDHHAMDC hosted an International Deaf Soccer Tournament  on September 3,  2006. Peru won the International Deaf Soccer Championship.

Deaf and Hard of Hearing Members from LDHHAMDC Community had voice and vote during the General Meeting was held in the Jordan Student Academic Center at  Gallaudet University. 

LDHHAMDC hosted a first Fiesta de Navidad in Wheaton, MD.
