9th Annual LDHH Cookout

Great Cookout features

LDHH Board Members worked hard and planned a successful community event at the park. These features included:

  •  Gigantic colorful stripped beach piñata made by     Zoila Barazarte
  •  a famous performance artist Mark Morales
  •  New LDHHAMDC shirts logo
  •  Pastel de Tres Ledes (three Milk cake)
  •  Spanish food
  •  Beach
  •  Kids activités
  •  Social

LDHHAMDC never left without a word of acknowledgment to former Assistant Secretary Zoila Barazarte. LDHHAMDC was pleased that many of Zoila's amazing ideas will definitely lift up  an excitement atmosphere among Deaf latino community. To our surprise, Zoila was passionate about designing custom Logo T-shirt. Her cousin ran a t-shirts business in the Virginia area. The new LDHHAMDC shirt log Zoila set was affordable.  The 2013-2015 executive boards all agreed to pay out of their personal pockets to support her cousin's t-shirt business.
