LDHH-LSU will be hosting the symposium on Colorismo en las Comunidades Latinas/x to address the Legacy of colonization: Colorism, Anti-blackness, and Anti-indigeneity.
Dates: Thursday, Sept 26, 2019, from 6:30 pm to 8:30 pm
Location: Gallaudet University: SAC Multipurpose Room
The symposium will be presented by Monica Gallego, Najma Johnson and Steph Niaupari.
Registration is free and is now open to all Latino participation and the public.
Sign Language and trilingual Interpretation is available upon request.
The event is sponsored by Latino Deaf and Hard of Hearing Association of the Metropolitan DC Area and Latinx Student Union.

LDHH-LSU kickoff AnnouncementSaturday, September 15, 2019 12 pm - 5 pm Our first event is our grande Kickoff on Sunday, September 15! It's at Gallaudet University from 12 pm to 5 pm. We will have authentic carne plus hot dogs/hamburgers! Please bring a favorite cultural side dish to share with us! Fun activities will be provided as well!
